Lead and ensure the delivery and establishment of robust, proven and highest quality in market diagnostic testing to support a customer - perceived best ever launch for Oncology products Expand to deliver the same for the next wave of personalized healthcare (PHC) launches within the oncology portfolio and other therapeutic areas **Typical Accountabilities**: - Removes or minimizes Diagnostic barriers to therapy use by optimizing testing pathways - Solving problems and implement solutions to maximize efficiency of diagnostic testing journey at account level; especially accessibility to test, specimen management, logístical management, turnaround time, positivity yield, and pre-analytic/analytic/post-analytic quality - Identify and collaborate with National Diagnostic opinion leaders, whilst maintaining appropriate contact with clinical opinion leaders where necessary to identify, design and execute activities to optimise the provision of diagnostics associated with the responsible brands - Develops and implements national customer facing activities for pre & post launch to support delivery of the optimal diagnostic environment for therapy, including delivery of diagnostic related educational initiatives including meetings, exhibitions, congresses/symposia, digital activities - Coordinating in selection and quality management process with testing labs - Removing barriers to testing through collaboration with diagnostic companies, lab network and key external experts - Delivering testing pathway robustness in all key national clinical centres including local protocol support, multidisciplinary team working and driving delivery from diagnostic partner(s) and testing labs - Driving diagnostic quality assurance (QA) programmes - Utilisation of diagnostics related evidence for medical education activity (medical evidence, real-world evidence and epidemiology) and assessment of evidence gaps for either global or local plans to bridge the gaps - Generation of diagnostic related insight to shape national brand strategy and tactics - As required, supports registration/regulatory approval of diagnostic tests within their country **Qualifications**: **Education** - Bachelors degree in any health sciences related field - Experiences in the pharmaceutical or laboratory industry **Knowledge** - Understanding of the national diagnostics environment, including the science, process and necessary commercial touch points in developing and implementing a treatment linked with diagnostic - Understanding of how the diagnostic business and customer environment works to drive rapid uptake of tests; how diagnostic standards are built, established and operated in different geographies; who these customers are and how they work - Understanding of the strategic planning process **Experience** - Experience of oncology diagnostic and therapeutic marketing including launch experience. - Delivery of high impact in market customer - facing/shaping Dx initiatives - Strong strategic thinking, judgment and influencing skills, to influence and lead national internal team and customers to ensure strong commercial focus with excellent execution. - Strong leadership attributes to set direction, generate commitment, balance short and long term needs, constructively resolve issues - Proven experience and knowledge of a broad base of external customers including patients, prescribers, payers, providers - Effective cross - functional project team leadership and influencing skills - Effective project team leadership and influencing skills - Effective working with medical affairs and cross functional stakeholders delivering highest quality initiatives to AZ promotional standards - Effective interactions with internal & external customers and stakeholders to drive success - Proven track record: focus, resource securing and deployment - Evidence of developing compelling business cases - Exposure to and track record of effective management of decision-making bodies and governance **Technical** - Strong understanding of Dx marketing environment
