Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide Purpose of the job To lead and manage a multi function team to deliver the monorail vehicles scope from detail design completion, installation, testing and commissioning through to final approval/acceptance. Ensure co-ordination with ongoing vehicle maintenance team. Ensure that all associated activities are undertaken to the specified budgets, timescales, specifications and OHS requirements. **Key responsibilities**: - Lead and coordinate a multi-functional and multi-divisional team (PBTS supplier in China, Maintenance mobilization team, Rolling Stock PI team, Quality Control Inspectors) to deliver the commissioned/tested monorail vehicle scope to financial budget, program and specification. Ensure effective liaison with the project support functions through the matrix organization relationship. - Co-ordinate activities of rolling stock/other suppliers and internal staff with Concessionaire and its nominated contractors, and any other applicable stakeholders. - Lead the OHS&E activities associated with the scope ensuring all required processes and procedures are applied by BT and any other relevant parties from transport of vehicle from the docks to final acceptance - Assist the Project Director in resolving key issues regarding (but not limited to) change orders, claims, and critical technical issues related to Rolling Stock scope. Education - Bachelor in Engineer, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field **Relevant experience required**: - Minimum 10 years experience in Rolling Stock engineering function and/or delivery - Project management experience - Specialist in Rolling Stock - Knowledge of Monorail vehicle - Minimum 2 year experience working in Asia Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrows mobility.
