Assistant Sales Manager

The position is based in Singapore and looking to hire an experienced Assistant Manager - Sales and Marketing. **Position Responsibilities**: - Create, implement, and manage sales strategies to reach and exceed yearly volume, revenue, and sales targets. - Establish and maintain excellent working connections with current and prospective client base to grow business collaboration and improve customer satisfaction. - Create, maintain, and convert a robust and credible pipeline of opportunities throughout the sales cycle in compliance with Sales Management goals. - Aligned with all internal stakeholders and functioned as a point of contact for all existing and prospective clients. - Going after sales leads efficiently and ensures a good commercial outcome - Follow up on all client inquiries, tenders, shipments, and information requests in a timely and effective manner, as well as ensure rapid responses to internal stakeholders. - Developing the in any of Air, Ocean & Road freight sales ensuring increased GP per customer - Winning new customer accounts through strategic business development planning - Perform an outbound call to customers under the vacant territories. - Responsible for selling Freight Forwarding services for Imports and Exports - Recording sales and order information to assist the business expansion - Supporting the sales teams to secure new business by sharing market and rate information - Responsible for promoting company services in the Freight Forwarding industry - Generate action plans to enhance performance - Develop and maintain relationships with customers and clients - Work alongside the operations team keeping informed of client plans and challenges **WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED** **You will need** - Background in Freight Forwarding/Shipping/Logistics and NVOCC - Experience in Air, Ocean & Road freight sales preferred - Professional working proficiency in English - Basic knowledge of OOG, SOC & COC boxes - Ability to direct and be a mentor for the sales team - Commercially minded - IT literate in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word - **The salary package comes with basic + special allowance + incentive** **WHAT YOU NEED TO DO NOW** **Do you have what it takes to be part of The Team?
