Automation Service Manager, SEA (based in Bangkok, Thailand - local contract) Are you the new service-minded leader and team player we are looking for? As a service manager, youll manage team to serve our customers providing planned maintenance and emergency troubleshooting, focus being in QCS and DCS as well as project Primary location is Bangkok in Thailand and also secondary location (Hochi Minh in Vietnam) should be considered in the new future in order to prepare for the boost of Valmet business growth & strengthen local management in Vietnam. You will be responsible for managing a Service business unit in respect of after-sales service to all customers. 1. Work as a team with colleagues in Sales and Services to propose value added services and solutions to existing and new potential customers. 2. Propose plans to improve service performance, through reviews of current performance and recommendations for improvements 3. Oversees and provides operational framework as well as guidance based on service strategy. Accountable for budget and policy recommendations and implementation. 4. Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of service employees to ensure performance against the agreed service standards. Work complexity and business impact: Manages and controls the day-to-day service activities and budget of a small team of service employees within a single site. **Requirements**: - Relevant educational background such as bachelors degree in engineering.- 10 years of experience in the field of automation and couple years of management experiences.- Ability to keep relationship with customer in various situations.- - Knowledge of our customers processes and/or automation technology are considered as an advantage- Fluent in English- A valid driving license and willingness to travel.- Ready to obtain local contract in Thailand.
