Characterisation & Analytics Group Intern

**About our group**: The Component Test Development and Electrical Integration is under Characterization and Analysis Group (CAG) that help provide test solutions and design learnings at the transducer level to the Transducer Design teams. We work closely with CAG-US and transducer designers in MN, USA, and Springtown, UK. **About the role - you will**: - Incorporate the requirements from design team into the test setup and plan the experiment, monitor the result, analyze data, develop the activities to feedback design aspect and manage conflicting deadlines in a dynamic environment - Collaborate and work for Engineering Integration of new head design research and development including new design analysis and feedback for Product Improvement and Engineering Evaluation before Production Qualification and New Product Launch - Manage design experiment requests and provide the first level data analysis (JMP, EXCEL Macro, SQL, Tableau) including leading the activities of electrical and physical failure analysis by working with cross-functional teams #internship **About you**: - Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service - Able to effectively plan, control and take responsibility for groups results - Able to prioritize multiple tasks, manage conflicting deadlines, and work effectively in a dynamic environment - Good at data analytical skills - Fluent in English communication both spoken and written **Your experience includes**: - Scripting with JMP, Python, SQL is advantages - Statistical Reliability Assessment is advantages - Good verbal and written communication skills - Good presentation skills **Location**: Home to 4,000+ employees, our Teparuk site produces nano-recording heads, a crucial component of the read/write functionality of a hard colleagues can grab breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks at our 24-7 on-site canteen and coffee shop.
