Were passionate about developing solutions for the changes they encounter and filling the recruitment gap with innovative tech implementation. **Responsibilities** - Set, define, and own the data science roadmap - Build a team of data scientists and mentor junior scientists and engineers - Design, prototype, and implement models across several domains. Manage each part of a projects life cycle, including ad-hoc exploration, preparation of training data, model development, and production deployment - Help define and implement a framework of continual innovation within the ML infrastructure and orchestrate a continuous cycle of learning, inference, and observation - Partner with engineers to develop ML pipelines, and maintain high system availability and reliability - Utilize methods such as Natural language processing, clustering, and dashboarding (among others) to create solutions. **Requirements**: - BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science required. Masterss Degree in a quantitative or scientific discipline is strongly desired - Experience with building and managing a team of data scientists - Advanced statistical modeling skillset - Advanced SQL querying, data mining, and data cleansing skillset - Excellent knowledge of Python, including common scientific computing packages and data science tools such as NumPy, Pandas, NLP libraries, Tensorflow and Scikit-learn - Deep knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms (neural networks, decision trees, etc.) - Advanced knowledge of experiment design - Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure tools (EC2, S3, Redshift) - Advanced visualization/reporting and presentation experience - Version Control Experience (GitHub) - Knowledge of ML infrastructure (ETL, tools, new products in the space) - Excellent strategic project planning skillset - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - Experience at a B2B SaaS company is a plus
